Stainless Steel

We procure these materials either directly from reputable steel manufacturers or import them from renowned suppliers in Japan, France, and Germany. To ensure uncompromising quality, we subject the raw materials to rigorous composition and hardness testing in our in-house laboratory.

Hardness Test & (Heat Treatment)
To ensure the strength and resilience of our surgical instruments, we have an in-house Heat Treatment Department equipped with a top-quality Vacuum Furnace. Our qualified staff and engineers are dedicated to treating each instrument to optimize its metallurgical composition and enhance its strength. Through precise heat treatment processes, we achieve the desired level of hardness, resistance to bending, scratching, abrasion, and cutting.

Our coating department has the capability to provide gold-plated instruments as well as powder-coated instruments, depending on the requirements of the instruments or our customers. We use only the best quality coating-related raw materials to ensure uncompromising quality. Additionally, each coating undergoes thorough inspection to ensure it meets our stringent quality standards before the instrument proceeds to the next department.

Passivation
& Department
Rust and corrosion can compromise the lifespan and performance of surgical instruments. To mitigate this risk, Eleven Shears has a dedicated Passivation Department. We utilize high-quality imported chemicals and subject each instrument to a rigorous boiling and passivation process for 24 hours before packing. If necessary, instruments are re-passivated to eliminate any chances of rusting or corrosion throughout their lifespan. Our instruments are guaranteed to remain rust-free, and we offer a five-year guarantee for your peace of mind.

We also offer customization of packaging and labeling according to our customers’ specific requirements.
